Since 2007 we have been working with few German developmental organization such as DEG (KFW) and GIZ, partnering with Western European based multinational companies based in Asia & Africa through a PPP (Public Private Partnership) approach. We have worked with some big brands such as Bayer, Nestle, Essilor, Schneider Electric, Holcim, Schindler, Metro Cash & Carry, PUMA, DQS, DEKRA, TUV Nord, TUV Rheinland and others on about 60 such projects in countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, or China.
ASSIST doesn't belong to the private sector but is working closely with it. This is why we can't say that we have our proper CSR activities.
However, the organization is structured in order to follow a CSR approach.
Indeed, under our "Partner to Progress"philosophy, ASSIST link up with other organizations to reach our goals: Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation.
ASSIST utilize the triple C approach: Communicate – Collaborate – Capacitate.
- Communicate –>Address the problem and dovetail the solution based on the needs.
- Collaborate –> Work together with partners and funding agencies to effectively implement the solution
- Capacitate –> Enable the target groups to become agents of change.
ASSIST emphasize the role of technology as an enabler of change and the need for knowledge products and tools for creating awareness and building capacity and for reaching sustenance of any initiative.
