Pact partners with corporations in Cambodia and across the Mekong region to plan and implement CSR initiatives that help to strengthen communities, while also helping to demonstrate responsible business practices that adhere to principles of shared value and social responsibility.
Pact’s corporate partners include both multi-national and local entities, many of which are part of public private partnerships in conjunction with government agencies. Pact-supported CSR activities include livelihoods programming to empower women, programs that bring renewable energy to rural communities, and programs that strengthen health systems to provide HIV/AIDS testing and prevention education.
Pact works to leverage the expertise of its partners and maximize stakeholder engagement, including community, employee, and supplier relations.
Pact, a U.S.-based non-profit organization, enables systemic solutions that allow those who are poor and marginalized to earn a dignified living, be healthy, and take part in the benefits that nature provides.
Pact accomplishes this by strengthening the capacity of communities, grassroots organizations, coalitions and networks and by forging linkages among government, business and the citizen sectors to achieve local solutions for development.
Pact opened our Cambodia office in 1991 and has maintained a continuous presence in-country for more than two decades, implementing projects and serving as a convening leader on critical issues that impact Cambodia’s future development.
